INTRODUCTION/COURSE OVERVIEW
This is an area designed strategically to introduce students to the digital sector which will ensure they gain important knowledge, understanding and skills that are foundations for working in the area. It includes many of the skills that are used by professionals on a day-to-day basis, such as project planning, designing, and creating user interfaces along with keeping data secure. The curriculum organises the various topics of the programme of study into clear objectives. It outlines what students need to know, what they must be able to apply and how to extend that knowledge where appropriate into other field of study.
